These are some of the images inspiring me, mixed with items that have been sitting in my shopping cart for a little too long now, helping to get me through these last couple of weeks of winter. The roof of my apartment building can not open soon enough.
There's something about entertaining in the spring that feels a little more rustic than any of the other seasons. Everything feels a little more fresh. From the food, to spring flowers, warm air (that makes me want to actually get my butt off of my couch), the stuffiness and over-planning of the holidays being over, going rustic is just the change I need. The roof of my apartment building can not open soon enough. Spring entertaining rule 1: The cookware = the serve ware! Spring entertaining rule 2: White wine season!!!! Cook with glass in hand. I can't even tell you how long I've been eyeing this apron ... I'm talking months. Spring entertaining rule 3: Once you're sitting, make sure you're all able to stay sitting ... no rushing around, all relaxing, having fun, and enjoying your buds. This double wine bucket seems like it could only help!
